Why we built SitePass
Most guardhouses in Malaysia, at factories and at residential properties alike, still run on a paper logbook. It records who came in, but it can't say who is still inside, whether a contractor has done the safety induction, or whether a banned person has come back.
The international visitor systems that solve this were built for office receptions, are billed in US dollars, and often sell contractor, emergency and blocklist features as extras. We built SitePass for the guardhouse instead: contractor induction, blocklist checks and evacuation roll-call are part of the product, the same visitor flow works for condominiums and gated communities, and it is priced in ringgit.
How SitePass works
SitePass runs in the web browser on phones, tablets and PCs, and residents can use the SitePass mobile app. Visitors register themselves by QR code, hosts or residents approve on their phone, and the guard checks people in with one scan. The full list is on the features page.
